However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of the Site or some of the other SiteOwl Services. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to the Site. Information about website visitors may be collated and analyzed by third party services like Google Analytics.
Google Adwords
The Site uses Google AdWords to advertise on third party websites to previous visitors to our site. It could mean that we advertise to previous visitors who haven’t completed a task on our site, for example using the contact form to make an inquiry. This could be in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page or a site in the Google Display Network Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to the Site. Of course, any data collected will be used in accordance with this privacy notice, as well as Google’s privacy policy.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit the Site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to a Site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics to improve the Site and the other SiteOwl Services and their related features, functionality and performance. More information about Zoho and its privacy policy can be found here: https://www.zoho.com/privacy.html.
Outbrain
We use technology from Outbrain. Outbrain is a programmatic ad platform (similar to Google ads) which allows us to set up campaigns to present our content in the form of ads on other websites. These ads could be blogs, eBooks or any other form of content that we want to put it front of an audience.
With the help of a so-called widget, users are referred to additional content within our website and to websites of third parties which may also be of interest to you. The content displayed in the Outbrain widget is automatically controlled and delivered by Outbrain in terms of content and technology. Reading recommendations, usually integrated below an article, are determined based on the content the user has read so far.
Outbrain uses cookies, which are stored on the User’s device or browser, to display this additional content. Outbrain collects the User’s device source, browser type, and IP address, where the last octet is deleted for anonymization. Outbrain issues a Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) which can identify the User when they visit a website where the Outbrain widget is implemented. Outbrain creates user profiles that aggregate user interactions (e.g. page views and clicks) from a browser or terminal device to derive the preferences of the UUID.
More information about Outbrain and its privacy policy can be found here: https://www.outbrain.com/privacy/.
